The hotel had excellent rooms, with a balcony that got afternoon sun, on a quiet side street, 20 metres from the main Nisantasi shopping area where all the best action and cafes are too. The room was very spacious, with a huge bed, big bathroom and shower, lovely linen and the hotel staff were stunning. It had tea and coffee facilities and a little fridge too. They greeted me by name at every opportunity and checked in to make sure everything was ok. It felt very personalised and that it was important to them someone was keeping an eye out for me. The staff organised for 3 guests to attend a night dinner cruise on the Bosphorus and gave me advice on what tourist sights to prioritise, the areas to keep away from and how to navigate the tourist hotspots to find all the more local places to go. This area is the best place to stay if you hate the tourist touts, hassle, crowds and gross high street shopping. Instead it is a vibrant and really cool neighbourhood with green space parks and fabuous shopping, with lots and lots of local designers as well as the usual Prada etc mixed in with some high street. It has stunning cafes and restaurants in this area too, with my favourite being Cup of Joy around the corner from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.
